We are looking for a highly motivated student to support us as an intern in the development of our innovative BMS (Battery Management Systems). As part of the program management team, you will work together with the technical project managers and system engineers to transfer the customer needs into technical requirements. You will assist with the development in all project phases from concept up to series release. As an interface between customers and the different departments of ME, you will get insights of all activities involved in the BMS development process (such as HW and SW development, functional safety, testing, field return process). Your role gives you the chance to work in an exciting and dynamic environment and to profoundly deepen your knowledge around electric vehicle batteries, battery management and electronics development as part of an innovative and unique team., * Assist with the HW and SW development in all project phases from concept up to series release

  • Support in project management like time and resource planning
  • Support in requirements engineering and feature definition
  • Support in safety relevant design activities and documentation
  • Support in release testing

Learn more about us on our website., * Bachelor or Master student in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics or similar engineering field

  • Highly motivated and willing to learn and take responsibility
  • First experience in Li-Ion battery or ECU development
  • Software development experience (embedded C/C++, Python) beneficial
  • Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English mandatory)
  • Initial insights in the functionality and the handling of lithium-ion battery systems or battery management systems beneficial
