About Mutual Ventures
Mutual Ventures was set up in 2011 with the aim of helping public services achieve more through combining a strong public service ethos with commercial discipline and an entrepreneurial culture.
We have worked with more than 200 different organisations and services. We have very deliberately kept our team size small to ensure a focus on quality and impact rather than volume. We currently have 20 full time employees supporting by a number of trusted, experienced associates.
Working with Mutual Ventures is a different experience to working at a larger consultancy. We empower and trust our team (including our interims/associates) to make decisions and take responsibility for their own work – but we also act as a tight knit team providing support to each other.
Our team is drawn from a variety of backgrounds including public sector, third sector and people from larger consultancies who have tired of the big consultancy model and culture. We have grown our team with a focus on experience and skills with the majority being at the Senior Consultant level or above – including experienced associates. This supports our consulting model of smaller, more experienced teams providing specific expertise rather than large teams of junior consultants. The feedback we get from our clients suggests that this is becoming the preferred consulting model for the UK public sector.
