Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Coordinator Job Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Outpatient Services and the Clinical Manager, will be responsible for substance use and mental health services, case management and treatment planning for clients who have been referred to Maryhaven for treatment. Will assist with administrative coordination of programming to include daytime and evening IOP services. The IOP Coordinator will assist with overall supervision of the department, to include facilitation of staff meetings, group/individual supervision, and ensure a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive milieu for clients and staff. Will act as liaison with internal and external partners in collaboration of treatment service coordination to prioritize census management and referral management needs. The IOP Coordinator will carry a caseload, complete assessments, and cover groups as necessary.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral science with one (1) year of experience in the field of chemical dependence or mental health treatment required
  • LICDC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, LPC or comparable license or certification with one (1) year of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use or mental health treatment or equivalent required
  • Prior supervisory experience required
