We have an exciting opportunity open for an Integration Manager, Accounting with the ability to work remote from AR, OK, TX, MO, SC, TN, KS, ME, FL or LA.

Position Summary

This position will serve a critical role in supporting Accounting and Operations through financial leadership. As a direct report to the company’s Controller, this position will be responsible for leading and supporting the integration of future businesses and assets.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop system integration plans for future acquisitions with regards to accounting systems.
  • Support the technical configuration and performance of the systems.
  • Document test patterns/results, known issues, workarounds, and potential solutions.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues for customers and co-workers.
  • Provide technical support to different departments within the company.
  • Collaborates with all levels of Company management to identify key business issues, build consensus, and recommend action plans around core operations or business planning.
  • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the utility and energy industries, as well as information systems, business, accounting, and finance.
  • Training co-workers, customers, and temporary staff on products and procedures.
  • Includes new and existing customer environments (cluster and virtual environments).
  • Assist in the research, procurement, and implementation of new technologies, products, and tools.
  • Formulating creative solutions to meet customer needs using existing system functionality.
  • Identifying gaps between customer technical requirements and current system capabilities.

Education And Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT
  • Six years of relevant experience required
  • At least two years in the utility industry experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to manage and lead cross-functional projects by leveraging support from others outside the CFO organization. Must possess the ability to influence others without direct position power to earn credibility and trust.
  • Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis with the proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts and data in an understandable manner to all levels of management and staff.
  • Experience within the Energy industry, especially regulated utilities
  • Demonstrated success in consulting effectively with all levels of management including executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully interface with executives, senior management, peers, vendors, and others in order to influence outcomes and ensure smooth operations to support company goals.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and meticulous analytical capability.
  • Highly proficient in SAP (S4 Hana)
  • Strong ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects successfully while maintaining an even-keel approach and commitment to deadlines.
  • Ability and eagerness to thrive in a high-pressure and mission-critical environment.
  • Eagerness and ability to propose creative solutions to challenging problems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Ability to analyze problems and identify potential solutions and preventive measures.
  • Eagerness to learn and work as a team player.
