Here’s where you come in:

As the Integrated Program Development Director, you will:

  • Lead, direct and manage all aspects of World Vision operations and program development and quality assurance (PDQA) in the Central African Republic (CAR), and ensure that there are strong strategic links, integration and coordination between resource acquisition, field operations, and organisational objectives to achieve optimum impact on child well-being for the most vulnerable children.
  • Ensure that World Vision CAR is accountable to all partners and that all work is of the highest standard, cost effective and adheres to standards and policies of World Vision International and its donors.
  • Assist the Response Director in overall strategic, programmatic and operational leadership to World Vision’s response and recovery activities in CAR.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to humanitarian leadership, international development, business administration, economics, rural development or similar. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years proven experience with International NGOs in emergency relief, rehabilitation and transition programming especially in fragile contexts.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams in complex, culturally and politically-sensitive contexts.
  • Proven track record of growing and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Extensive experience in programme management and implementation of multi-sectoral emergency response projects.
  • English and French fluency required.
