Insurance & Reinsurance Attorney

Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its Insurance/Reinsurance practice group for its client’s Los Angeles or San Diego office.

This associate will represent both international and domestic insurers and reinsurers on issues relating to pre-underwriting risk assessments, claim management and coverage opinions for professional liability risks in the U.S.

The associate will handle a diverse portfolio, and will be primarily responsible for formulating and implementing project strategy. The candidate should have the ability to present complex liability and coverage issues in well-organized and concise written work product.

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, able to think critically and have superior writing skills. This position requires some out-of-state travel. All candidates must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of California.

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $120,000 – $170,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
