IsraAID’s vision is to help people affected by crisis and displacement to have safe and equal access to opportunities, information, and equal services;
and live in an environment where their dignity, rights and safety are respected, protected and fulfilled.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

Following Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, 2022, IsraAID’s Emergency Team was deployed and has been operating in Moldova since March 1st, providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees.

In addition to emergency relief distributions, IsraAID operates Child-Friendly Spaces paired with Mothers Psychosocial Support Groups for incoming refugees, and offers capacity-building
Protection programs for frontline and community workers. Since April, IsraAID has also been operating a large-scale humanitarian logistics hub in Tulcea, Romania, that has already shipped over 25 million dollars worth of essential supplies to war-ravaged communities within Ukraine. As of August 2022, IsraAID is working on establishing its long-term and permanent presence in Ukraine itself.
