Institutional Fundraiser

Young Africa is looking for an experienced Fundraiser Do you want to be part of a successful international non-profit organisation? Are you a specialist in raising funds and mobilising institutional resources? Are you passionate about contributing to the SDGs and youth empowerment? Young Africa is looking for you! Young Africa trains young people in Africa to find paid employment or start their own businesses. Through integral vocational training, young people learn a trade, and are empowered with life skills and entrepreneurship training. We have 10 training centres across 5 countries and numerous implementation partners. We have skilled 50,000 youths and empowered 225,000 youngsters with our programmes. We are headquartered in Zimbabwe with a support office in Amsterdam.

What you will be doing

· Expand the network of donors

· Gather intelligence about existing and prospective donors with a desire to empower youths

· Develop a shortlist of high-potential prospects and for each of these create a donor journey that ensures conversion of leads

· Build positive and sustainable relationships with donors

· Adapt our communication materials to individual donor requirements

· Be part of the team that prepares and submits proposals..

· A salary up to € 5,000 gross per month, depending on experience. Part-time options are negotiable.
