What You Will Do

Inside Sales Specialist is the key role reporting to Service Excellence Manager – MEA. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will support the UAE customers by identifying the requirements from Field Operations, direct interaction with the customer, and offering standard and specific solutions and services. Your focus will be on retaining our customers and growing opportunities and their success ratio.

As an Inside Sales Specialist you will collaborate with Frontline Sellers (Sales Team), Field Operations, Customer representatives, and technical services resources to ensure proposals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, adhering to JCI’s standards and specifications. You will be key point of contact for clients for answering queries and providing basic technical advice and information on new product introductions and modifications. You will handle HVAC Core (Service) system inquiries, follow up with the customers, build and maintains good relationships through Wholesale Distributors at all levels, and coordinates new and repeat sales to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and account retention.

How You Will Do It

As an Inside Sales Specialist professional you will use your Technical skills and experience to build proposals through CPQ / pricing tools / Service selection tool and collaborate with our local area team for Onsite asset counts/site details, Reviewing and understanding the PPM Reports and MRF for labor and material jobs, Mentorship on pricing and any Upsell opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Professional you will review all proposals prior to customer submission and also will be responsible for review & approval process for Order Receipt which will include reviewing terms and condition is as per JCI standards, reviewing Terms of Payment is as per JCI Standard, Send Order Acknowledgement, make sure internal approval process guidelines (DOA) are followed, send the documentation to the Sales Coordinator for booking in ERP and end to end tracking from Lead identification to booking in ERP

As an Inside Sales Professional your day-to-day responsibilities will also include making Outbound calls or follow-up calls to gather & update all actions in SFDC, weekly call blitzes and follow up on submitted proposals, call/e-mail customers with outstanding / soon to expire proposals, reviewing current / expiring contracts and review contract performance. You will also participate with other regional sale colleagues in sharing marketing intelligence about product opportunities that will grow sales, submits orders, and confers with Customer Service Representatives and coordinate with outside sales and demand planner for forecast orders and special pricing (SPR). You will prepare frequent reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quotation information vs success ratio, market application trends

You are an effective self-starter, problem solver and data/analytics driven with the ability to explain technological concepts to a non-technical audience combined with a customer-orientated attitude. You will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending informative workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and will chip in to sales efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Highly customer oriented, Quality focus and self-driven personality
  • Proficient language skills in Arabic & English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Control’s product lines

Preferred

  • Minimum 1 years of confirmed experience in sales/estimation in HVAC and Building Technology Industry
  • Proven track record to influence account decision makers at key levels
  • Experience working with a CRM database
