Job Description Summary

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative position will be responsible for driving incremental sales revenue for assigned sales territories, supporting increased sales productivity of assigned Outside Sales Representatives. The Inside Sales Representative will support Outside Sales Representatives and existing customers direct, with take-off’s, quotes, technical & project layout drawings, specification sheets. As well as handling transactions from inquiry through invoice for consistent premier customer experience.

Sunbelt Rentals–the fastest growing rental business in North America–is seeking an Inside Sales Representative.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Min 1 years’ business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in a design/specification service industry
• Ability to visit customers and prospects in office, facilities & site settings as needed
• Ability to travel 0-5% within region. Occasional overnight travel (chiefly for training)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Technical and mechanical aptitude to understand Generators, electrical power distribution & connection, switchgear, load banks, compressed air systems and HVAC/drying equipment for designed applications
• Power & HVAC based roles: Journeyman Electrician, technical certification, EPA (HVAC) preferred
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM, McGraw Hill Dodge and/or IIR PEC Reports, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook or equivalent
• Cold-calling, reactivating dormant accounts, and engaging prospects and customers
• Flexibility to work extended hours and be on-call

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
