WHO WE ARE

We are an organization that employs over 70 people in Poland alone, including specialists in communication, marketing, finance and HR. It is the daily work of these people that enables qualified humanitarian workers to carry out aid projects around the world. In total, our team consists of over 300 committed people who work together to achieve the mission of PAH, which is to make the world better by reducing suffering and promoting humanitarian values. Our headquarters are in Warsaw, but we also have an office in Toruń, as well as 5 permanent missions in South Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Yemen and Ukraine, where we employ mainly local employees.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain a day-to-day oversight of data collection across all program activities to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate and in line with interagency standards of age, location and gender disaggregation;
  • Minimize any backlog by supporting data entry and regularly reviewing data quality;
  • Ensure that all data is stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Contribute to improved data collection through: revising old or uploading new forms/templates, updating databases;
  • Clarifying indicators and calculations, and training the team on data collection tools, etc., in coordination with the MEAL team;
  • Liaise with internal and external counterparts to ensure timely and appropriate sharing of data and information, such as sharing beneficiary count reports with MEAL team, providing annual statistics to technical units at HQ and updating interagency data platforms;
  • Provide the accurate, required data for any required reports relating to the project in a timely and well-presented manner.

Our requirements

  • Fluency in English and Polish;
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, with a focus on data and information management, monitoring & evaluation;
  • University degree;
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, Kobo, etc., including creating tables and forms, data extraction and analysis, using pivot tables, and charting/visualizing data;
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Comfortable conducting quantitative analysis on a variety of data sets;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage data collection processes and improve data collection systems;
  • Willingness to travel.

Optional

  • Ukrainian/Russian language is an asset;
  • NGO experience is an advantage.
