Our Fundraising team
The Individual Giving Executive (Fundraising Development & Acquisition Executive) will support the Fundraising Development Manager in managing new and existing fundraising programmes and initiatives to grow supporter and donor numbers for the Trust. They will work with the team on the development and delivery of the Acquisition calendar of activity, within the agreed income/expenditure targets and timelines. They will have a particular lead focus on cash and regular giving appeals as well as in-mem & celebration programmes.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a fundraising team, preferably in Individual Giving, working across a range of projects with a view to recruit more supporters for the Trust.
About the role:
Location & coverage
You will be working remotely, with a requirement to attend our main hub spaces as and when required for team working a collaborative meetings.
Relevant hubs include: Leeds, Liverpool, Burnley, Newark, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Gloucester, London.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver the creation and the end-to-end roll-out of new fundraising acquisition products and initiatives (Cash, regular giving, In-Mem and In-Celebration).
- Roll out new fundraising asks and promotional materials to a broad range of teams to increase income opportunities across the Trust;
- Run end-to-end multi-channel campaigns (postal, social, email, sms, OOH).
- Work with content/social media teams to ensure all fundraising website pages, email & social media are current
- Ensure tailored stewardship journeys are deployed for all supporters
- Overseeing all fundraising campaigns are within the Trust’s brand guideline.
- Ensure all fundraising campaigns are compliant with fundraising regulations and legislation, including GDPR.
- Ensure campaign tracking is in place to deliver regular campaign performance reports.
- Manage key third party agency/supplier relationships.
About you:
- Relevant qualification in area, desirable.
- Working towards the Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising, desirable.
Practical:
- A proven track record supporting individual giving multi-channel fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
- A track record of understanding fundraising funnels and helping to create clear donator call-to-actions and journeys.
- Experience of design, copywriting and printing processes for fundraising campaigns (appeals, marketing materials).
- Good experience of building relationships with internal departments and key stakeholders to promote fundraising opportunities.
- Comfortable managing agencies and suppliers.
- Advanced understanding of digital fundraising innovations
- Experience of working within a charity environment (advantageous).
General:
- Good financial management and analytical skills.
- Excellent design, copywriting and print management skills including exceptional attention to detail.
- Good project management skills and proven organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Knowledge of GDPR and Fundraising Regulator Codes
- Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, Excel and MS Teams
