Your Role
You will be responsible for the primary freight planning activities from factory to warehouse and the overall stock and warehouse process management at the 3PL warehouse.
A Typical Day
- Work with third-party service providers and internal teams for stock inbound & warehousing
- Carry out the freight planning for all PO’s. Follow up for bookings and ETD/ETA
- Collaborate with 3PL for container ETA, Inbound clearance, and inland transportation planning
- Perform the documentation for all inbound shipments
- Manage the alerting process towards 3PL and support the team on the critical cases to avoid at demurrage or detention costs
- Warehouse stock management & Inventory control
- Management of Slow and Obsolete stock, coordination with internal teams to reduce this stock level
- Provide monthly freight and 3PL cost reconciliation to Finance
- Carry out the Annual container planning and monthly container forecasting forecast
- Track cost performance against agreed budgets to ensure that requirements are met
Who You Are
- Prior work experience with a 3PL company
- Efficient in Inventory management processes
- Knowledge on Freight forwarding Process, Incoterms and documentation, UAE Inbound customs process knowhow,
- SAP experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Having agile and growth mindset
