About The Role: The In-Kind Donation Coordinator is responsible for procurement, distribution, and coordination of emergency food, clothing, and other material needs for LGBTQIA+ and other doubly marginalized refugees globally.
Responsibilities:
- Soliciting donations from corporations, foundations, and community partners
- Assist with the general management of all in-kind donations
- Distributing such donations throughout the organization as needed, based on the needs of our communities.
- Assisting with pick up and delivery logistics
- Communicating professionally and clearly with donors to explain needs and requirements regarding the donation process
- Maintain current and accurate records of donations and prepare donor reports as needed.
- Working with local partners to redistribute surplus as needed.
- Follow up with recipients to collect stories and photos/videos suitable for sharing with our audiences.
- Other duties as assigned by the SPI Leadership Team.
What Else You Should Know:
This role is a remote volunteer position. There is no fixed location requirement, but the In-Kind Donation Coordinator must be available to meet and collaborate with team members located primarily in North America, Europe, and Africa.
