You’ll be on the forefront of an exciting and rapidly changing industry as Epic expands its offerings and enters new global markets. You’ll provide legal expertise to support Epic’s human resources and executive team. Drawing on your experience, you’ll advise stakeholders on labor and employment requirements under international, federal, and state laws. You’ll work with stakeholders across the company to identify and implement creative solutions to company needs. Your level of responsibility will match your skill set and will increase rapidly.

  • JD with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong academic and professional background
  • Entrepreneurial and self-directed
  • Stay up-to-date on labor and employment laws, regulations, and the legal implications of industry trends to develop and drive strategy
  • Advise human resources and other business units on all labor and employment matters, including wage and hour, workplace safety, discrimination, privacy, and immigration
  • Engage in all aspects of the labor and employment litigation process, including assessing risk, developing strategy, partnering with outside counsel, reviewing pleadings, and ensuring compliance with discovery requirements
  • Willingness to take on additional projects, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area is necessary and will be fully reimbursed
  • COVID-19 vaccination
