Job Description

We are looking for an independent, communicative and well-organized colleague who would expand our team providing immigration services to our clients. Processing of work and residence permit is a rather complex process that always depends on the specific circumstances of the applicant for a stay in Switzerland, so there is never a shortage of interesting moments at work.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Proactively manages the immigration process for a portfolio of clients from beginning to end, according to the agreed procedures and for all types of work and residence permits. Ensures that the needs of clients are met at all times. Prepares files and follows up on work & residence permit applications. Ensures compliance in Switzerland regarding immigration procedures. Coordinates solution-oriented immigration processes and ensures deadlines are met. Informs all parties on the necessary immigration steps to be taken in an effective and efficient way. Works structured, proactively, precisely and manages expectations. Keeps complete and accurate files & templates in the system and executes all tasks accurately, including on-time billing. Completes administrative duties associated with the immigration case management. Escalates any bottlenecks in the process. Communicates effectively with immigration authorities. Organizes translations and/or legalizations if necessary. Assists with the risk management checks for new and ongoing clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in an international environment, preferably in visa and immigration or, if not, within the field of HR, International Mobility or Customer Service. Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Good ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Team player, positive attitude Client service focused, responsive and “can-do” open-minded attitude and approach. Strong organizational skills, proactive approach. Understands the importance of confidentiality. You have genuine interest in the global mobility field. Exposure to the Swiss legal field would be a plus. You are a native French speaker (with excellent writing skills), you are fluent in English. (Swiss-)German or Italian are a plus. Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work and residence permit.
