The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a PQMEL professional to support ActionAid’s Humanitarian and Resilience work globally with a nexus lens in designing systems, providing technical support to countries, aspire organizational learning, manage knowledge, assess programme impact, champion digital technology and MEL innovations and globally lead on humanitarian and resilience PQMEL for the ActionAid federation including relevant external representation and engagements.

The position holder coordinates humanitarian and resilience PQMEL priorities with IHART, ActionAid country teams and key ActionAid federation members.

Who we’re looking for:

If you have five years plus experience in a similar role in a multi-country setting environment with demonstrable experience of coordinating humanitarian Programme Quality, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning initiatives for the organization as well as experience of external PQMEL related engagements.

You should have good understanding of humanitarian PQMEL values, principles and standards including but not limited to the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS), Sphere Standards, OECD Guidance for Evaluating Humanitarian Assistance and other donor specific PQMEL frameworks for humanitarian assistance. The role requires solid experience of applying a feminist lens to humanitarian PQMEL and ability to work under pressure during emergency context.
