Oxfam in OPT is looking for a Ibtikar Project Manager that will lead the project “IBTKAR for Social Change” – Inclusive Development Opportunities for the Resilience of Palestinian Rural Communities in post-Covid Era.

“IBTKAR for Social Change” general objective is to contribute to the achievement of SDG 8 aimed at encouraging long-lasting, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work in Palestine. While the Specific Objective: To strengthen the social, economic and environmental resilience of agricultural entrepreneurs and Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) actors in the West Bank and Gaza Strip through innovative and sustainable solutions in the post Covid-19 era.

The Project Manager will lead the programmatic, management and partnership aspects of the projects / interventions financed by either Oxfam or donor/s. As a key role within the Economic Justice programme, the position will be based in Ramallah, with regular travel to programme sites. He/she will oversee effective management and relationships with partner organizations, manage the intervention throughout the project cycle, including budget management (including expenditure planning and expenditure monitoring), lead in preparing and developing high quality programme plans, including MEAL and procurement plans, progress and donor reports, ensure appropriate monitoring and project quality, and enhance internal and external learning and representation. In addition, the PM will also identify scaling up opportunities and new project ideas in line with economic justice thematic areas.
