HW Design Engineer (Board Designer)

We are looking for an experienced HW Design Engineer (Board Designer) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Responsibilities:��� Design and develop cutting edge cellular communications boards containing digital, analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuits��� Work on projects from concept design to mass production level delivery��� Perform all phases of board design: definition, design, simulation, schematic capture, lead the layout process, production pack release, bring-up, testing, troubleshoot, and documentation��� Design to meet military standards, thermal and environmental constraints��� Facilitation of off-site PCB manufacture and assembly processes��� Bring up new PCB design, perform design verification against requirements and specifications, and generate verification report��� Integration and validation as part of a bigger systemRequirements:��� M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or similar��� 5 years work experience as board designer��� Experience with telecommunication designs such as COMINT, DF, RF receivers��� Experience with schematic capture��� Experience with design simulation tools like PSpice and HyperLynx SI��� Knowledge in digital systems, analog system, power supply design��� Knowledge in RF, transmitter/ receiver architecture��� Experience in FPGA Developing environments, VHDL and Verilog languages – advantage��� Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills��� Self-directed – highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independentlyOther requirements:��� Team player��� Excellent written and verbal communication skills��� Capability at working with multiple stakeholders, including clients��� Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure��� Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
