Key Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Timely and accurate reporting is essential as far as food commodities management is concerned in humanitarian context. Considering essence of effective accountability to all key stakeholders whom include beneficiaries, donors and program implementers, hence the purpose of this role is to ensure quality and accurate reports are compiled and submitted timely. Participate into field physical inventory exercises for the sake of ascertaining the true picture of information being compiled. Since information technology is vehicle for the role, he/she should ensure functionality of ICT to enhance effective use of CTS system and LMMS for date capturing regularly.

Required Professional Experience

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

Three years’ experience in working with humanitarian operations,

Experience in reporting and ICT

Experience in working for commodities programs

Required Education, Training, License, Registration, And Certification

Training in commodities management, response trainings, human resources management, management and ICT

Preferred Knowledge And Qualifications

Degree in Accountant, Procurement, Information Communication and Technology, master’s degree is an added advantage

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
