NRC is looking for a motivated and collaborative leader to join the team in Kabul, Afghanistan as a Human Resources Manager. If you are someone who enjoys leading and inspiring large and diverse teams; is an effective communicator with good conflict management skills; and has a strong background in employee relations and reward management, then this is the role for you!

What You Will Do

· Labour Law and Tax compliance.

· Recruitment of national staff, in accordance with procedures.

· Induction, including Code of Conduct and Anti-corruption guidelines.

· Standard operating procedures quality control in all HR Functions.

· Staff capacity building, training, and support in accordance with capacity gaps and training needs.

· Salary review coordination and implementation.

· Performance appraisals oversight.

· Payroll oversight.

· HR analytics and reporting.

· Office management.

· Administrative systems and procedures development and implementation.

What You Will Bring

· Senior Human Resources Management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.

· Advanced degree, or similar qualification.

· High risk, insecure, opaque, complex, and volatile context exposure.

· English fluency, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the local language (Dari or Pushto).

What We Offer

· Kabul, Afghanistan duty station.

· 12-month contract duration.

· 20% travel, approximately.
