NRC is looking for a motivated and collaborative leader to join the team in Kabul, Afghanistan as an HR Manager (National Position). If you are someone who enjoys leading and inspiring large and diverse teams; is an effective communicator with good conflict management skills; and has a strong background in employee relations and reward management, then this is the role for you! **This position is open to Afghan Nationals only**

What You Will Do

  • Labour Law and Tax compliance.
  • Recruitment of national staff, in accordance with procedures.
  • Induction, including Code of Conduct and Anti-corruption guidelines.
  • Standard operating procedures quality control in all HR Functions.
  • Staff capacity building, training, and support in accordance with capacity gaps and training needs.
  • Salary review coordination and implementation.
  • Performance appraisals oversight
  • Payroll oversight.
  • HR analytics and reporting.
  • Office management.
  • Administrative systems and procedures development and implementation.

What You Will Bring

  • Senior HR Management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • Advanced degree, or similar qualification.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal. Knowledge of the local language (Dari or Pushto).
