Human Resources Manager

ROLE PURPOSE:

In support of the initiatives as set by the Chief of People, Culture and Organization, the Human Resources Manager, directs and manages end-to-end employee recruitment processes, ensuring proper screening and selection, on boarding and probationary processes. The post holder use his/her expertise to find talent, manages procedures relating to salary and benefits administration, ensuring policies and procedures of SCP are in line with the minimum requirement of the Philippine Labor Law.

The position will also manage volunteer engagement and retention processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Significant & meaningful experience working in Human Resources
* Must be knowledgeable with the end-to-end recruitment processes and payroll management.
* Must be knowledgeable with volunteer engagement and retention programs
* Experience working with multi-donor and multi-site programmes is a plus
Familiarity with all aspects of HR processes and its interface with government agencies.
* Strong management skills
* Good communications skills – written and oral
* Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy
* High flexibility
* Strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
* Can tolerate working under ambiguous circumstances and sometimes difficult situations
* Keen with details
* Must have the ability if necessary to be able to independently make good decisions to solve problems.
* Must be a team player, or ability to coordinate and work well with others.
* Understands and believes in Save the Children’s mission and vision; commits to its objectives and willing to adopt Save the Children’s methodology and framework.
