As an HR Generalist II at our Jackson, TN Plant, you’ll collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives. We’ll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to strategize on operating plans and impact the bottom line with forward-thinking. Excited about what lies ahead? HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Employee Liaison – We want someone who loves building rapport and positive relationships. You’ll serve as the initial point of contact for HR questions and inquiries by all levels of employees.
  • Set the Pace – Getting things off to a great start is key. You’ll coordinate the job posting process with operations for hourly roles and related activities to include candidate screening administration, managing Technician probationary process, and assisting with new hire orientation.
  • Collaboration is Key – Supporting HR business partners and Kellogg Work Systems Centers of Excellence by assisting with administration relating to Technician Training Program, qualifications, HR metrics reporting, attendance tracking, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), short/ long term disability case management, and the return to work process.
  • Fresh Thinking – A continuous improvement mindset is what we are looking for. You’ll identify and recommend process improvements to simplify various HR processes.
  • Owner’s Mindset – You’ll oversee the employee engagement program for the plant and look to drive engagement within the salaried and hourly workforce.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior HR experience with strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

  • Associate’s Degree (or higher)
