PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner is responsible for P&C services for Avolta’s headquarter as well as global functions. In addition, she/he collaborates with the regional People & Culture colleagues for questions and tasks related to global functions.
The P&C Business Partner reports to the HQ & Global Functions P&C Head.
This role is based in our headquarter in Basel, Switzerland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Human Resources
- Act as first point of contact for any HR-related questions
- In charge of employee lifecycle from recruiting to exit, incl. drafting employment contracts and reference letters
- Ensure compliance with local labor law regulations as well as company policies
- Develop, modernize and implement various process in close collaboration with P&C Head
- Support external payroll provider by providing relevant documents and information to ensure accurate and on-time payment
- Manage HR policies and procedures in accordance with Swiss labor law
- Drive annual processes such as budget and pay review
- Create reports and use HR Analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
Talent Acquisition
- Drive the recruitment process for HQ roles (except executive level)
- Develop innovative solutions to attract candidates
- Provide timely feedback to candidates
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least three years of experience in human resources
- Fluency in English (both verbally and in writing); German would be an advantage
- Positive mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and sticking to deadlines
- Problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills for reporting and data-driven decision-making
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SuccessFactors would be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset; alternatively, a certification in HR
