Context:
Under general guidance of the Chief of Mission (CoM) , overall supervision of the Senior Resources Management Officer , the functional supervision of the Human Resources Officer and Sr. HR assistant, The incumbent will be responsible for the following
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Ensure record keeping and maintenance of all relevant correspondence and personal files. Maintain filing and reference system, following IOM guidelines. File research as/when needed for colleagues seeking particular documents.
- Draft routine documents and forms related to IOM operational and administrative matters.
- Prepare contracts, Personnel Actions, employment / salary certificates.
- Arrange for the employees’ routine Performance Appraisals.
- Arrange for the employees’ Entry-on-Duty Medical Examination and Medically Fit certificate, as well as for their inclusion in the appropriate medical coverage plan.
- Prepare travel authorizations and advises on allowances for staff members leaving on duty travel.
- Attendance Records and regular update
- Review all applications on vacancies, prepare the short list of candidates and submit to Supervisors
- Any other duty within the incumbent’s capabilities as assigned by the RMOs.
Qualifications:
Education
- University degree of human resources or public administration or related filed from accredited academic institution with 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Completed High School degree from accredited academic institution with 4 years relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Learns about developments in available technology
- Proactively identifies and advocates for cost-efficient technology solutions
- Understands applicability and limitation of technology and seeks to apply it to appropriate work
Languages
- English, Kurdish, and Arabic are required.
- Any other language is an advantage.
