The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for providing human resources assistance and support to AHS Managers, employees within an assigned client group. The Analyst – HRBP works with HR Advisors/Senior Advisors and in conjunction with HR specialists and services centres to plan and implement HR processes in line with policies, legislation and collective agreements.

Description:

The HR Analyst is part of the HR Business Partnerships Team and works with a high degree of independence to provide support to various stakeholders including employees, managers, and HR Advisors. Duties include providing collective agreement interpretation, processing recognition of previous experience, temporary position extensions, and FTE changes, investigating/solving various client issues and addressing a wide variety of client inquiries. The Analyst also assists with special projects, develops various data reports and supports the duty to accommodate/return to work process. The Analyst communicates effectively and strategically while delivering complex information in a diplomatic and concise manner to all stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma in HR, Business Administration or related area is required. Minimum 2 years in an HR working environment.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Advanced MS Office skills. Experience working within an HRM system. Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, research and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability as well as patience and flexibility in supporting stakeholders with organizational processes. Strong team work, organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current knowledge in areas such as Recruitment, Compensation, Employee & Labour Relations and Position Management. Experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity, combined with experience in healthcare and/or union environment experience. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Experience with administrative policies, procedures and standards pertaining to staffing, recruitment, employee and labour relations is preferred.
