Human Resource Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated Human Resource Specialist to join our team!

Job Summary: The Human Resource Specialist will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resource (HR) Department, including hiring and interviewing staff, employee relations, assisting with payroll processes, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to learn the organizations recruiting and onboarding platform.

Desired Education and Experience:

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field desired.
• A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to list 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
