Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfils its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role you will:
Role purpose
Finance, Accounts Payable and Vendor Manager, internal responsibility for outsourcing partners. (Point of contact between front and middle office for all the data on funds marketed in Switzerland. Providing reports, data analysis, data control to ensure accurate information is delivered to contractual counterparties in Switzerland. Co-ordinate between the front request with the back office to ensure the client receive the data needed.)
Principal Accountabilities:
Impact on the Business
Coding of invoices
Internal Accounts Payable and Receivable Management in cooperation with PBRS
Management of finance outsourcing partners
Manage KPIs of outsourcing partners
Co-ordinate and review of operational fund data templates and client templates;
Review website content from a business perspective and in line with HSBC marketing standards;
Provide support in global and local project management initiatives;
Provide services related to contract management, including the provision of updated appendices to clients in alignment with various stakeholders at fund provider level;
Ability to deal with big data, using MS Access, VBA, C++;
Fund Management support by creation of tailor made data reports
Pro-actively challenge data, controls and evaluate owner of the data within the wider organization.
Leadership & Teamwork
Support line management by provision of office management services related
Work effectively with peers and stakeholders across functions with an exposure to operations
Foster positive and professional working relationships with colleagues at regional levels.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Own and escalate operational relevant issues to the risk management committee and the executive committee as appropriate;
Monitoring business activities against regulatory requirements set out by the Swiss collective investment schemes act as applicable to the representation of foreign funds;
Ensuring compliance with all GSM and FIM relevant provisions (as applicable);
Maintaining awareness of operational risk;
Maintaining and observing all HSBC control standards and implement and observe the Group Compliance Policy.

Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Minimum of three years of working experience in asset management
Generalist with strong logical thinking capacity
Strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail
Fluency in German, French and English languages required (verbal and writing)
Good communication skills, organisational talent
MS Office knowledge required (PowerPoint, Word, Excel advanced)
Accounts Payable and Finance training and experience
Minimum of two years working experience with MS Access and VBA
