As our new HR Specialist you will join our Ahold Delhaize European Business Services HR Services Support team, a team that is responsible for a multitude of vital HR processes around absenteeism, onboarding, Learning and associate engagement. Your new work environment

As HR Specialist your main focus will be on our learning activities. You will be responsible for the organizational and functional aspects of the learning process. In this exciting role you work in close collaboration with the Talent & Learning department and our business. You will be responsible for translating business needs into practical solutions and providing advice on the process and on technical aspects. After implementation of the project you are responsible for the execution of the planning and other organizational activities. Based on your knowledge you decide what activities stay in the Dutch team and what activities you will transfer to our colleagues in Serbia. You make sure that they are equipped with the knowledge and authorizations and you take care of a proper knowledge transfer.

Next to this you will play a key role in managing the employee engagement survey, a survey that is sent out to over 100.000 employees each year. Your biggest responsibility is to represent the Dutch brands in the global project and making sure that your stakeholders are informed during the process. You are also responsible for performing tests during the several phases of the project and to align with the brands to ensure all the data is correct. You are the face of our survey, so next to your tasks in the project you will be responsible for handling all questions on the survey. You prepare, improve, implement and monitor this 10-month project, and actively engage with stakeholders. We are also always looking to improve on our service delivery, and we invite you to pro-actively act on ideas you have. You are in the lead!

Last but not least, we also have a lot of running activities like cross charging and reporting that are awaiting your critical view in order to take the next step.

In your team HR Services Support, you will work closely together with your team consisting of 7 colleagues, one manager and one intern. Moreover, you will also work in close collaboration with our colleagues in Serbia. HR Services Support is part of European Business Services, which is a world-class digital services organization helping our great local brands achieve their strategic goals. The working language in your team is Dutch.

  • Managing and maintaining a successful process around the areas for which you are responsible.
  • Ensuring a seamless and successful planning and organization of learning activities for our entire business.
  • Ensuring a successful delivery of our employee engagement survey, which is crucial for the development of our associates.
  • Supporting on absenteeism procedures, which are vital for the well-being of our colleagues.
  • Supporting your team in the onboarding of our newly hired colleagues, and ensuring a smooth transition into their new job.
  • Analyzing and reporting on management data to our business, and actively advising our business based on your findings.
  • Sustaining an active collaboration with both our internal stakeholders and our external relations.
  • Giving feedback and contributing to our open and transparent team culture.

Requirements

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you meet the following requirements:

  • You have a higher education work and thinking skills (HBO or University)
  • You speak English and Dutch on a professional level
  • Experience with MS Office.
