Oxfordshire Mind are looking for a HR & Recruitment Administrative Assistant to support the HR Team. You will be working as part of the HR team, providing a professional and first-class administrative service to our HR Business Partners and the wider organisation.

Recruitment

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advertising vacancies via Bamboo HR system, job boards, and other sites
  • Responding to general enquiries from applicants, candidates, and new starters
  • Support interview panel to set up interviews
  • Process pre-employment checks – ID checks, references and DBS
  • Write offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Adding new starters onto HR system
  • Co-ordinate and update recruitment & new starter tracker spreadsheets
  • Support HR Manager with ensuring compliance of all mandatory training
  • Support the HR team with adhoc HR projects and administrative tasks as required
  • Create reports using data from the HR system

Essential

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Experience of working in an administrative/support role
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Good work ethic and commitment to role
  • Understanding the importance of data protection and confidentiality
  • Confident and motivated to work on own initiative without needing direction
  • Able to work collaboratively to achieve team goals

  • New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
