We’re hiring a Recruiting Intern to join our Human Resources Team.
Responsibilities
Gain an understanding for the full recruitment process from approval and requisition through onboarding a new hire
Source resumes and phone screen applicants
Conduct background screening including reference checks
Schedule interviews internally with hiring managers and externally with candidates
Participate in weekly recruitment meetings
Assist with cleanup of employee files, incoming resumes and HR databases.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
Perform additional duties as required.
Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related field or progression towards such degree
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Prior work experience, community involvement or participation in extra-curricular activities
High degree of accuracy coupled with maximum productivity
Self-starter, energetic, creative, good sense of humor and resourceful
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle workplace stress and good conflict-management skills
Able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
