We are seeking an experienced HR M&A Operations Specialist, supporting our Client HR Acquisitions & Integration Project Lead on incoming M&A related project work. In this role, you will be directly responsible for working with cross-functional teams to deliver on complex project deliverables in a timely manner while meeting multiple fast-moving deal timelines.

Summary

  • The HR Operations Specialist will support the people activities for our incoming acquisitions that focuses on the preparation of the deal execution, incl. post deal close support
  • HR subject matter expert who understands the world of tech and has supported technology driven stakeholder groups globally in a HR generalist capacity
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders to drive strategic business objectives.

Skills & Competencies

  • 4+ years of experience working across HR functions
  • Experience in operations and/or project management highly preferred
  • Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions highly preferred
  • Experience supporting stakeholders’ and acquired employees with an empathetic approach
  • Experience supporting re-organizations, reductions in workforce, benefits enrollment, and payroll processing
  • Ability to solve people challenges, applying sound analytical thought and judgement and escalates complex people challenges to HR Acquisitions &Integration Lead
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in a fast paced constantly evolving organization
  • Global and collaborative mindset

Additional Information

  • Be able to support all facets of the client M&A lifecycle for HR, including:
  • Pre-close: support the overall HR / People integration plan is (what, how and when to integrate in order to drive business outcomes); manage operational deal execution requirements independently, coordinate relevant teams while ensuring timely delivery of key tasks; having a proactive approach to deal project planning; supporting tactical onboarding process (HRIS, communication, documentation, etc.); identify key solutions to enable a smooth deal execution; manage and monitor data with high attention to detail
  • Post-close: support overall post-acquisition integration plan, support organizational change management process, in collaboration with HR Acquisition & Integration team; connect with acquired employees and leadership to provide enhanced support based on integration strategy, support data archiving plans and any deal related integration plan requirements as and when due; gathering and documenting requirements and propose solutions for operational process improvement purposes; act as point of contact to acquired employees for quick problem resolution
  • Overall acquisition/ integration lifecycle: support delivering M&A related work in a structured and proactive fashion, with a focus on operational excellence, diligence, and a resolution-oriented mindset. Act as point of contact troubleshooting operational issues; identify opportunities to automate processes involving data gathering, transformation, reporting and analysis to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the team

This role can be 100% remote. Preference for someone to provide support during core CST hours.

This is a 6-month project to start with opportunity to extend or convert.
