About the Role

This is a key role within our HR team which has responsibility for the overall management of our HR Operations administration and our People Advisory service for currently just over 500 employees. A key focus for this role would be to enhance our People MI Monthly dashboard with the goal of it to be an important management tool to aid decision making if people activities.

A passion for continuously improving will be essential, with a focus on always evolving the self-service functionality for managers and colleagues of our HR database.

The job is located at our Head Office, Paddington with hybrid working

Reporting Lines

This role reports to Head of HR/Senior HR Partner

Main Accountabilities

  • Providing a comprehensive HR Operations administrative and HR advisory service
  • Managing, coaching and developing our HR Operations Administrators (currently 2) and HR Advisors (currently 2) through a supportive and collaborative approach, though encouraging ownership and accountability.
  • Taking ownership of the HR system (RSM), implementing and communicating improvements of self service capabilities
  • Developing a HR MI monthly dashboard which will be a key tool in aiding management decision making for the focus of HR activity
  • Managing or escalating complaints as appropriate;
  • Driving a culture of process improvement with a tight focus on data integrity and an excellent service to managers and employees
  • Responsible for employee lifecycle documentation and authorisation, in line with Addison Lee’s standards and guidelines;
  • Managing HR supplier relationships and relevant systems (for examples employee benefits suppliers)
  • Managing or involved in cross functional or HR projects as necessary

Requirements:

About You

  • An experienced and capable HR professional, adept managing a HR administration service and a variety of ER cases
  • A talent for coaching and developing people, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Track record of working in a customer-focused environment where the emphasis is on SLA’s and continuous improvement.
  • Ideally worked in an HR Shared Service Centre before, but other relevant operational experience considered;
  • Good interpersonal skills; Be a great ambassador for HR
  • An understanding of what is involved in managing recruitment campaigns,
  • Excellent level of IT skills, data manipulation skills would be highly beneficial
