ONSUR works through the main office in Gaziantep province Turkey and execution offices in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Turkey.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Officer provides full substantive and analytical support on a broad spectrum of complex HR services, including recruitment, remunerations, retention, learning, and staff development, and work closely with the HR team on delivering various HR initiatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure adherence and compliance to ONSUR policies and the local labor law in all procedures and processes.
  2. Ensure compliance with HR function strategy, tools, handbooks, guidelines, and standards.
  3. Implement support function portfolio according to the plan of action.
  4. Prepare and develop HR & Recruitment reports as required by management.
  5. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.
  6. Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for all staff.
  7. Advise and support Line Managers in basic HR processes.
  8. Support in any other issue relevant to the HR function.
  9. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or other related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (compensation & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio) as well as capacity to operate in databases including HRIS, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Good cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Highly approachable, trustworthy, and confidential.
  • Good diplomacy and negotiating skills.
  • Critical thinker with a constructive approach to problem-solving.
