Job Description
Within the heart of the European retail management team, you will be in charge of the day-to-day Human Resources in Germany as well as animating a HR team of 3 coordinators looking after respectively: Spain/Portugal, Italy and Switzerland. In more details:
Coordinate and oversee recruitment
- Support Store Managers and Area Managers with the sourcing of candidates (Job advertisement, recruitment tools, first contact with candidates…)
- Lead interviews to recruit managers and coordinate the recruitment process.
- Provide regular progress reports to your commercial partners and HQ.
- Search local solutions, anticipate future needs and retain talents.
- Support your HR team with difficult positions and keep track of overall progress.
Manage personnel administration in Germany
- Be the main point of contact for general HR enquiries, both internal and external.
- Oversee entry process ensuring that our administration system is used correctly by managers and keep contact with our payroll administrator on a regular basis.
- Oversee leaver process with payroll and lead exit interviews reporting feedback when necessary.
- Monitor the probationary period process and provide guidance to Store Managers.
- Ensure appropriate administrative process are followed (holidays, sickness, change of contract…)
Control employee relations
- Ensure a proper detection of tensions and issues over the network. Search and be in contact with the legal team for appropriate solutions.
- Handle disciplinary & grievance procedures in Germany and support HR Coordinators in complex cases.
- Contact and manage relations with employment lawyers on complex cases.
Support talent development
- Supervise inductions of new managers and follow up with onboarding paths.
- Plan and assist with Annual Development Appraisals (ADAs) in South Europe.
- Find new solutions to improve our process and help to implement group projects.
- Keep up with HR KPIs to support area managers and HR Coordinators.
Pilot Compensation And Benefits
- Support Area managers and HR Coordinators in the annual salary review process.
- Ensure the respect of company and group remuneration guidelines in salary proposal and evolutions.
- Keep contact with C&B team on salary issues and benefits situations.
Manage a team of 3 HR Coordinators
- Organise team meetings and give updates on company activities
- Present, explain and support for any new process or update.
- Ensure a quick transfer of information and a clear reporting
- Assess performance and develop your team
And any other duties deemed necessary both now and, in the future, to meet business needs.

Your team. Led by the Sales Director South Europe and the HR Director, you will join our amazing European retail team. You will be based in Germany but in contact with all our retail network from 5 different countries and manage a team of 3 local HR Coordinators.

For this position, we expect a professional background with:
- + 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- A keen attention to detail, strong organisational skills and adaptability/flexibility to a fast-paced environment are important.
- Proactivity and ability to multi-task.
- A strong sense of customer service and ability to develop trust with your internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as confidentiality and discretion.
- A previous experience in an international environment is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Fluency in a 3rd language is a plus (Spanish, Italian or French)
This position is based in Germany, but regular business trips are foreseen inside and outside the country.
