Global Rights Compliance (GRC) is a hybrid legal firm and foundation seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager.

This is a newly created position at GRC as the organization embraces its next phase of growth. This is an exciting time to get involved; our HRM will have the unique opportunity to set up the HR function, working closely with the GRC leadership team. We are looking for someone with proven experience and who is able to deliver at an operational level. This role is hands on, flexible, responsive and perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced challenging multinational environment. We see this role evolving to become an integral part of our leadership team, with a mix of strategic and operational work to meet the needs of the growing organization.

The HRM will be responsible for setting up and implementing the full life cycle of HR processes and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads recruitment and prepares job descriptions, offer letters and contracts.
  • Manages staff deployments across multiple countries and all requirements for staff rotations.
  • Ensures employees are ready for deployment by developing onboarding and orientation procedures and training programs.
  • Develops and implements human resource policies and identifies solutions for possible issues.
  • Acts as employee advocate and mediator with employee relations concerns and handles employee relations issues as required.
  • Drives effective performance management and retention of key talent.
  • Evaluates insurance benefits and assist employees with their benefits.
  • Handles all other employee-related tasks as required.
  • Suitable candidates will be flexible, resilient, organized, diligent, thoughtful and thorough.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience as an HR generalist, ideally in a not-for-profit or legal field.
  • Knowledge of HR labor and employment law, and the ability to interpret, apply and articulate this knowledge in support of business initiatives.
  • Ability to express opinions in a professional manner with strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Good organizational, planning and follow up skills with good attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource related field, M.S. degree is a plus.
