Job Description Summary
Assists in the administration of benefits programs. Ensures benefits administration actions are completed accurately and on time. Assists with the communication of benefits information to employees. Helps to evaluate and refine benefits processes; participates in the implementation of new or enhanced benefits programs.
Job Description
Helps employees understand benefit programs by establishing communications channels, including announcements, booklets, pamphlets, meetings, seminars, and hot lines.
Provide support for various benefit communications to associates.
Provide support for wellness program activities.
Workday and benefits mailbox maintenance.
Contributes to benefits administration and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Maintains employee confidence and protects benefits operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures.
Improves benefits administration job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills And Education
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (cumulative).
Must be available to work Monday – Friday 30 – 40 hours / week.
