General Description of the Organization:

Ghiras Al-Nahda is a Nonprofit Non-governmental humanitarian organization working to empower people through fulfilling their basic needs and seeking to improve community stability and resilience.

Job purpose:

The HR Assistant will provide HR support to the organization’s staff. The role requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the HR Manager and other team members.

Duties & objectives:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Maintain and implement onboarding procedures for new hires (including drafting offer letters, employment contracts, induction plans, etc.) and ensure newly recruited staff receive required equipment.
  • Ensure that the personal folder database has been updated on a regular basis such as (new hires, terminations, leaves, warnings, etc.)
  • Assist in monitoring the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Implementing all archiving for the Gaziantep office (soft and hard copies).
  • Prepare all Administrative documents when requested/required.
  • Follow-up exits documents for staff.
  • Follow up on staff leaves and attendance, provide necessary forms for staff, and review the whole process.
  • Actively participate in capacity-building activities such as conducting and facilitating in-house training as required.
  • Receive, and archive all training requests and training materials for internal and external training.
  • Coordinate the performance evaluation time frame and notify all staff on the process annual schedule.
  • Prepare, maintain, and archive all contracts and their amendments and all related annexes properly as required by the archiving system.
  • Support the HR Officer with employee relations and performance management issues, including drafting memos, conducting investigations, and implementing disciplinary action.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR as needed.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR and administrative support.
  • Very good written and spoken English and Arabic skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a demanding self-supervisory, multi-task environment within clear timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal, and cooperative working skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and Strong organizational skills
  • Priority for Turkish citizenship holders.
