Job Summary:

The pivotal role of the Human Resources Assistant is integral to supporting HR functions, ensuring the smooth coordination and execution of diverse HR processes, with a specific emphasis on effective communication between the Syria and Turkey teams.

She/He will tasked with overseeing precise employee data registration, ensuring accurate HR system entries, and managing information receipt for all SRD teams in Turkey.

This responsibility is conducted under the close supervision of the Line Manager, encompassing all HR functions while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Properly organizes all HR documents and staff files, ensuring all the information for each staff member is up-to-date.
  • Entering employees data into the HR System and and archiving for soft and hard copy documentations.
  • Keeps tight communication with the HR Syria team, ensuring that all the information regarding the employees in Syria is registered and received under the close supervision of the HR Manager.
  • Ensure proper recruitment checking and documentation.
  • assist in coordination between Syria and Turkey teams.
  • assist in coordination between HR and other departments with the Turkey office.
  • Checking the monthly changes after coordinating with the Syria team to get them in a timely manner.
  • Checking Syria and Turkey timesheets and leaves and support to get it done in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing and translating JDs, and other necessary documents when requested.
  • Follow up on PRFs, justifications, and COSs checking and documentation.
  • assist the HR Manager in payroll preparation.
  • assist in conducting interviews, advertising as well as communicating with the candidates.
  • printing, preparing, and maintaining a proper archiving system.
  • Assist in building the capacity for Syria HR teams.
  • Assisting for conducting orientation for new staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adherence to other SRD policies.
  • Any other relevant tasks upon the request of Direct Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education: University Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Public Administration, Information Management, or a related field.

Work Experience: 2 years of relevant HR and/or administrative experience is required at the national or international level; Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and experience in handling of ERP-based HR systems is an advantage.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic are required, and knowledge of Turkish is desirable.

  • Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Remains calm, and in control even under pressure;
