Head of Human Resources

We are hiring for a global hedge fund in Crypto high growth business is hiring for Vice President Human Resources with a high growth mindset to manage the internal HR and recruitment function across all business units.

This position aims to provide recruitment and operational support to the Executive and Management teams, provide HR Operations, leadership, and guidance to the senior management team, and drive recruitment strategy.

Reporting to the COO leading HR and recruitment function, you will need to be comfortable & experienced functioning at a strategic level whilst also being very hands-on.

Responsibilities:

· Identify the need for resources programs and projects and develop these programs/projects ensuring they are delivered effectively.

· Work with the senior management team to develop a comprehensive HR strategic plan.

· Drive recruitment, conduct interviews, coordinate logistical requirements, and successfully handle more complex schedules and interviews.

· Onboarding new staff members.

· Mentor and/or train less experienced staff and serve as an escalation point for complex issues and questions from the business, candidates, and/or recruiting team.

· Undertaking project work that develops solutions for operational level issues ie.

· Process improvements in the area of employee retention, employee engagement, and performance management.

· Develop, implement, and regularly review & monitor policies and procedures.

· Monitor, measure, and report on recruitment issues, opportunities, and development plans.

· Keep up to date with all relevant legislation and filter such information.

· Develop tools for performance appraisal, job evaluation and development Demonstrate commitment to the ongoing training and development of staff.

Requirements:

4-10 years or HR or recruitment experience in a high-growth business or start-up

Have experience in a HR function, preferably in a trading or technology business.

Experience navigating the complex situations that come with rapidly growing teams with ease.

A strategic advisor that cares deeply about maintaining a strong culture and developing the people who form it.

Experience proactively identifying new opportunities to build an inclusive culture, implement effective change management and drive business results.

Experience advising and owning a build-out of team processes and structure that scale.

Experience with offer preparation and drafting, guiding managers and appointees through the process for a smooth and successful onboarding process and issuing contracts and offer letters.

Experience working in a HR function and improving processes and managing onboarding and external partners.

The ability to remain calm in stressful situations, including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
