HR Administration Team Leader (Contracts and Administration)

The HR Administration Team Leader is responsible for managing his team and for strengthening its performance by ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the client’s environment and preferences, and by committing to quality of services and achievement of Service Level Agreements. To this end, the HR Administration Team Leader may perform technical tasks, such as troubleshooting technical issues, reporting and data management, and may perform administrative tasks, such as managing team performance and checking the quality of the services. The main tasks of the HR Administration Team Leader, however, is to proactively seek opportunities so that his/her team to deliver efficient and high-quality service, notably by streamlining processes, fixing reliability issues, tracking service metrics and developing the services delivered.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Overseeing service delivery within the business context and monitoring and reporting on key Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Leading the service delivery team, creating mechanisms for feedback, employee growth and development, managing conflict, and succession planning
  • Ensuring the team’s processes and tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively and managing escalations.
  • Identifying customer needs and assessing customer feedback, using creativity to establish, improve, and refine services.
  • Remaining organized and meeting deadlines, also ensuring appropriate team coverage and scheduling
  • Building partnerships and liaising with other team leaders to determine the company’s services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.
  • Leading, implementing and/or supporting strategies, programs or projects affecting the organization, that may have impact to their team and processes.

Selection Requirements and Profile:

  • University Degree; Certification in HR an asset
  • Good command of English; French language skills an asset
  • Experience and/or certification in Project Management and/or Change Management is an advantage
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft suite and working knowledge of HR information systems
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ proven professional experience in HR administration
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a shared services environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in HR services, including workflows, processes and key performance indicators
