Job Details

Position Title: HR & Admin Officer

Duty Station: Gaziantep-Turkey

Classification: 10 months Special Short Term – with possible extension / PART TIME

Deadline of Applications: 06-03-2022

Number of People to be hired: 1

Eligibility: Internal & External Candidates

Key Responsibilities

Ø Assist in ensuring staff compliance with human resources policies, as per POINT’s Operations Handbook and HR Handbook comply will all Turkish labor regulations.

Ø Ensure that leave, recruitment, and training trackers are updated on a regular basis.

Ø Monitor staff attendance and ensure that all staff timesheets are submitted and filed on time and prepare the monthly payroll.

Ø Assist in communicating with interview candidates and scheduling for tests and interviews.

Ø Prepare employee contracts and all documents,

Ø Preparing documents to obtain a work permit.

Ø Responsible for ensuring the following are accurate, complete, and up to date: personnel files as hard copy and electronic

Ø Assist managers and staff on effective performance management and administer the collation of performance management documentation.

Ø Ensure new staff receive an appropriate orientation and induction.

Ø Ensure clearance and debriefing is carried out for exiting staff.

Ø Commitment to the path and values of the organization (Faith in youth and volunteers, Integrity and honesty, sacrifice and altruism, teamwork and team spirit, innovation and creativity, elegance handling and patient dignity, responsiveness, and initiative).

Ø Respect and apply all the PSEA and child protection principles and show high commitment to report any PSEA & CP action.

Ø Managing social media accounts

Notes:

the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibility/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

Requirements:

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Fluent in English and Arabic. Turkish is an added advantage

Ø Good in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Ø Experience in NGO work.

Ø 1–2-year experience in HR or administrative

Ø Minimum bachelor’s degree in any related field
