Right now, we’re looking for a caring and organised individual to join us as a Housekeeping Assistant at Wingham Court Care Home in Esher to help us be the positive difference to our resident’s lives.

Working hours and salary

£10.35 – 11.35 per hour

£500 Starter Bonus

Should you be successfully hired in to this role, we are pleased to be able to offer you a one-off Starter Bonus of £500 as a thank you for deciding to join Bupa Care Services. The Starter Bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks’ service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI. Ts &Cs Apply.

Full time/part time and bank contracts available.

What Your Typical Day Involves

• You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
• You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.

About Our Home

Just a 10 minute walk from Claygate train station, Wingham Court offers long term care or rehabilitation for young adults (18-65) with neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries or complex needs. The home has a real family feel, where the team are passionate about providing person centred care, championing dignity and independence. Benefiting from an onsite tennis court and gym, the team organise a wide variety of activities meaning there’s no typical day here. As part of the team, you’re supported from day one to learn, develop and encouraged to progress.
