Job Summary

Our summer or semester internship program contains work experience that give students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hotel industry. The internship exposes students to various projects and learning objectives within a department of interest (Food and Beverage, Culinary, Banquets/Events, Front Office/Guest Services, Housekeeping, Sales, HR).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Working towards bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or associate’s degree (A.A.) in hospitality, hotel, event, or tourism management from four-year or two-year College or University; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience whether oral or written.
  • Knowledge of and ability to appropriately interrupt and follow policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; includes the ability to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance.
  • Adaptability to demanding/fast paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need.
