Tom & Phil set up Honest Burgers from a tent, serving burgers and chips at parties and festivals. We’ve now got over 45 restaurants across the UK. We make British beef patties in our very own butchery and rosemary chips that are cut and cooked daily in our chipping room. Every restaurant serves local beers from neighboring breweries, and many of our restaurants serve local burgers using ingredients from nearby food heroes which have been created by the team. Today, Tom & Phil still work shifts, they spend time with our teams, listen to our customers and spend time at the farms.

Job Description

As a marketing team we are blessed with a lot of incredible messages to talk about from a great brand with an amazing story.

From our people to the quality of our food, to the processes behind it all. Our presence across our social media channels is a key and essential part of telling those stories. We know there’s a whole world of opportunity for us to take advantage of, with the ambition of becoming the go-to burger brand on social. We’re not quite there yet, and the successful candidate for this role will be the rocket-fuel we need to get us there, with a huge runway of opportunity to shape this space.

The next few years at Honest are exciting, and this role will have a key part in executing that vision in terms of content. From launching new products to revolutionising our content strategy, you’ll be an essential part of the Marketing team from day one, and there to help us unlock the next chapter of Honest’s future. You’ll have a finger on the pulse on current social media trends, either from the wider food & hospitality industry or outside our sector entirely – bringing a fresh perspective to us, and you’ll always be looking to help us up our game.

Qualifications
You’ll be creative, comfortable with coming up with and executing new ideas, and pretty handy with a camera too.
You’ll be our counsel on all things content and social media, helping us to build out our brand personality online, as well as continuing to foster a community of engaged burger lovers.
You’ll have a focus on organisation, planning and critical thinking to ensure that we can succinctly and effectively communicate our core brand messages, as well as hero-ing new products and restaurants as they launch.
You’ll quickly slot into a fast-paced, well knit team, and be eager to use your expertise to drive the social media functions in an Honest way, forming a great relationship with our incredible operations teams.
You’ll be ‘Honest by nature’, have empathy with our teams, partners and networks, and a good level of knowledge across the full brand and marketing mix will stand you in good stead. It’ll be fast-paced and rewarding, with unlimited opportunity for development.
