Research Analyst
The Research Analyst plays a critical role in company growth and will conduct, manage and analyze renewable fuels research, economic analysis and data to help drive the development and growth of the company. The Research Analyst will work closely with and report to the executive team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable multi-tasking.
Responsibilities Include
Research renewable(s) industry trends, best practices and competitor strategies Research and help implement carbon and other ESG metrics life cycle analysis of company projects Create clear and concise executive summary memos, diagrams and presentations Perform financial analyses to determine the financial health of vendors, potential partners and competitors Develop queries and reports to describe business operations and unearth opportunities for investigation and improvement Work with business units to gain in-depth understanding of processes, challenges and strategies. Explain issues and recommend solutions to senior management Lead by helping other team members perform advanced analyses and recommend best practices to solve problems Conduct research and analysis to identify and define additional partners needed to scale the business and conduct and/or support with outreach to collect data and recommend strategic plan and timings Conduct outreach to establish relationships with potential partners Edit and proofread memos, emails, presentations and reports
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree 5+ years’ experience in an operations, engineering, finance or research Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong editing skills Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge / proficiency
