Key Responsibilities
- Responds to project enquiries that are allocated to them by the Head of Project Management, Sales Director and/or General Manager
- Develops project quotes in accordance with the client brief and available budget, proposing solutions that work within the Company’s financial objectives in terms of payment terms and margin
- Attends client meetings as required within the scope of a project and/or project pitch
- Collaborates with HODs to ensure correct specification of equipment prior to quotation
- Provides feedback on a regular basis to the Company Project Management meetings as to the status of project enquiries and quotations
- Manages time appropriately in order to submit quotations promptly in accordance with customer expectations
- Demonstrates a commercial awareness and keeps focus on maximisation of project profitability
- Has good understanding of all technical disciplines
- In conjunction with the Equipment Manager, manage equipment sub-rentals ensuring that the Company is obtaining the best possible rates, both locally and internationally
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with suppliers
- Responsible for Dry Hires, in coordination with the Project Coordinators
- In coordination with the Project Coordinators, responsible for creating and managing intercompany sub-rental orders
Required Education And/or Qualifications And Skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- University degree in Marketing or Business Studies
- Competency in using MS Office applications
- Customer service oriented
- Strong organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Decision making skills
- Financial and commercial acumen
