ALAMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.

ALAMEEN is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.

Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.

ALAMEEN also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance

About The Role:

ALAMEEN is seeking a Health Program Manager responsible for developing and implementing the mission’s operational Health strategy and the quality of current and future Health programs throughout the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation phases.

Build the capacity of the mission’s Health department and provides technical support to the project teams.

Also, represent AL Ameen to the health sector’s authorities, humanitarian actors, and donors.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise the content of Health training and the quality of Health activities based on identified needs.**

· Ensure the teams under your responsibility follow logistic and administrative procedures and keep the logistic and administrative departments informed of any relevant developments.**

· Sets individual objectives, evaluates individual performance, contributes towards the professional & career development of their team members, monitors competences**

· Manages relationships with technical authorities, local partners, or other stakeholders**

· Drafts new project proposals for the continuity or expansion of the project**

· Provide technical support to the project teams and, in particular, to the health teams**

· Leads development and operationalization of ALAMEEN Health Strategy.

· Builds the capacity of the ALAMEEN health team, ensuring regular training for staff and health personnel in such areas as clinical training, health service management, and data collection and reporting

Qualifications:

· Health professional with a medical degree.

· Have at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in humanitarian contexts, preferably in project management in emergency/conflicts areas.

· 3 years of supervisory and management experience.

· Have previous experience working in coordination with Ministries, hospitals and PHCs.

· Experience in project management and managing budgets.

· Excellent knowledge of data management.

· Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
