Responsibilities

AAN Associates is actively looking for a technical expert with a robust background in health logistics management, procurement, and health commodities. Candidate is expected to have a minimum of 10 years of individual experience in the technical area and a proven track record of applying evaluation methods. The professional will:

  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive and robust evaluation methodologies, providing insights aligned with project objectives and industry best practices.
  • Conduct meticulous reviews of relevant documents, showcasing a keen eye for detail. Analyze and synthesize information from diverse sources to inform the evaluation process effectively.
  • Execute fieldwork with precision, involving visits and consultations with a diverse range of stakeholders. Gather additional evidence on-site to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the evaluated programs or initiatives.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, bringing valuable perspectives and insights to discussions. Engage collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to foster a productive and inclusive working environment.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders during fieldwork, ensuring a meaningful exchange of information. Build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, contributing to the success of the evaluation.
  • Prepare inputs with a focus on accuracy and relevance, contributing significantly to the development of evaluation deliverables. Ensure that contributions align with established quality standards and enhance the overall impact of evaluation outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical acumen in approaching evaluation tasks and challenges. Showcase a genuine passion for impactful evaluation work, driving excellence and innovation in the field.
  • Excel in a dynamic team environment by actively collaborating with team members. Contribute to a collaborative atmosphere that values diverse perspectives and fosters collective success.

Requirements:

  • Clear communication in English is mandatory; additionally proficiency in French.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading evaluations of similar scale, complexity, and character in the sectors of health logistics management, procurement, health commodities.
